The show gathers on stage a group of women with very different backgrounds - artists and highly qualified scientific researches - selected through a period of work and study.
Together on stage, they retrace the history of discrimination of scientists such as Rosalind Franklin, Lise Meitner, Cecilia Payne, Katherine Johnson and many other.
“Le Eccellenti” ( = the ones who excel ) proposes the daily life, the successes, the difficulties of these very women – actresses, dancers, musicians but also mathematicians, neuroscientists, astrophysicists – through a comic and irreverent style.
