La Risiera di San Sabba - Theater

The Risiera of San Sabba was a rice mill located in the city of Trieste, then converted into a Nazi concentration camp and police detention's camp (Polizeihaftlager), as well as for the transit or killing of a large number of prisoners, mainly political prisoners and Jews.

The students of the F. Petrarca High School co-wrote a contemporary Theater piece about the history of the camp and then performed the play in one of the rooms of the camp itself.
